I am a PhD candidate at the Department of Psychology, Education and Child Studies (DPECS) at Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences (ESSB). My PhD-project is embedded within the Fami-LIES research project of the principal investigator Dr. Rianne Kok, which focuses on lying within families. Specifically, I investigate patterns of lying among parents and children from early childhood to adolescence, to shed light on how parental lying affects child lying and vice versa. In addition, I investigate whether parental lying is related to adaptive and/or maladaptive developmental outcomes across childhood.
